	Whitechapel Cottage Whitechapel was the first site designed by David prior to Designhand being formed some months later. The success received from this site prompted an interest in establishing Designhand to help others establish a web presence. This is an example of a 7 page website.
	International Tax Recovery International Tax Recovery is a professional business focussed on providing tax recovery services to an international market. The design of this site incorporates a map of the world as a watermark which gives it more of an international feel.
	Campervan Wiring Company Campervan Wiring is a niche provider of services to the campervan industry. This is a good example of one of our one page sites incorporating the email form, key photos of the business premises and a section describing the key features of the business and contact details.
	One Stop Ski Shop The One Stop Ski Shop is a well known ski shop located on SH4 between Taumarunui and National Park in a small town called Owhango. The site has a flash image on the home page that rotates between the inside and outside of the shop and an online shop facility has been created for selling Ski's and Snowboards online.
	Simpson Lodge Simpson Lodge is a boutique lodge nested at the foothills of the Auckland Waitakere Ranges. The site has a rollover picture gallery of the lodge and a fresh and appealing design. Simpson Lodge offers all the benefits of a semi rural setting whilst only 5km drive from Westcity shopping complex and less than 2km to the train station from Waitakere to downtown Auckland City.
	Harney Fine Teas Harney Fine Teas are an importer of fine teas from the US. The site is a good example of an online shopping cart with payment gateway through to Paypal. Customers can select from a multitude of products on the site and purchase through the cart and add the necessary freight option. Payment works seemlessly through Paypal and customers can either select the credit card option or pay directly through their Paypal account.
	Tilesonline Tilesonline are an online Tile shop that supply tiles to customers and dealers across New Zealand. The site involved a re-design of an existing site and hosts a shopping cart with payment gateway through to Paypal.
	Conoscenti Conoscenti is an organisation providing networking opportunities for Executive Assistants to Chief Executive Officers in Auckland. The scope was a redesign of their existing site. The redesign involved keeping the look and feel of the old site but introducing a much smarter design and more modern framework. We setup databases to manage RSVP registrations, suppliers and membership.
	Backblock Book Binders & Russell Bach In this scope we were asked to bring together two businesses in to the one website. Simple but effective site for a Bookbinding business and for a holiday home in Russell. The site uses separate front page sections and shares a combined Contact Us page. The header graphic is a mixture of both entities.
	IT Fits Puzzles - Online Shop IT Fits Puzzles is a small home based business that creates a large range of wooden puzzles painted all sorts of different colours. The scope was to build an online shop to enable IT Fits to spread sales of their products far wider than local craft shops and through traditional retail outlets.
	Ngakonui Valley School Ngakonui Valley School is a small country school 12kms north of Taumarunui. The school approached Designhand to help them enter the internet age. We took a lot of existing newsletter content and materials available and produced a simple to use website for the school and the surrounding community. We assisted in creating the logo which came about from an old Oak tree in the front grounds of the school.
	Avondale Health Centre Avondale Health is another example of a redesign site. We were approached by Avondale Health to modernise the site, design a logo and new brand to reflect that the Health Centre is beside the railway tracks in Avondale, Auckland and the site required a modern uplifting look and feel.
	Brent Wong - Painter This was a new site, and an opportunity to provide a visual representation of Brents works. The design came from Brent himself and we really enjoyed bringing to life Brents creation and a gallery of fourty years of his works which he can now share with the world.
	Laurens Lavender Farm Laurens Lavender is a very special place and we really enjoyed building this site. We did a lot of the design work onsite as the place has a very special feeling and our charter was to take the spirit of the surroundings and present them on the world wide web for others to share.
	Sweetcheeks Sweetcheeks is a good example of a website redesign involving the addition of an online shop. Even though this originally was not our design, we have structurally made a conversion of the site to support an online shop database and shopping cart and added an administration menu for managing product additions and deletions with ease. We are proud to be associated with Sweetcheeks and keen to see the business grow with the improvements to the website.
	Ohakune Primary School Ohakune Primary School is another good example of a re-design project. Designhand was approached to re-design the site and focus on a country school look and feel and keep a simple approach to the appearance and the functionality of the site. The site uses a small amount of 'Flash' to change images at the top enabling a larger amount of images without too much clutter on the page.
	One2One Beauty One2One Beauty are based in the main street in Taumarunui and Designhand was approached to take the presence of One2One Beauty to the internet. The site was designhand around the colour scheme inside the premises of One2One Beauty and the riverstones reflecting an earthy affect and in keeping with the proximity of One2One to the junction of the mighty Ongarue and Whanganui Rivers.
	The Camping Outlet The Camping Outlet are a large Auckland based camping and outdoor equipment supplier with two stores, one in Glenfield and one in Penrose. The Camping Outlet approached us about taking these stores online and establishing a large online store for customers to purchase online. There are over 400 items in the online store and all major credit cards are accepted using a Paypal payment interface.
	All About Buggies All About Buggies are a Mountain Buggy sales and service agent in Auckland. Glenn and Angela approached Designhand to establish a logo for their new business as well as a website to display Mountain Buggy products and accessories that are available. The website has an online form and a map on how to get to All About Buggies.
	Hobsonville Physio Hobsonville Physio is another good example of a re-design of an existing site. Craig approached Designhand to freshen up the look and feel of his site and bring the design in to this century. We took a lot of the content from the old site but freshened up the look and feel and modernised the layout and graphics.
	Roll Back The Years Designhand was approached by the Taumarunui & Districts Historical Society to help them put the Roll Back The Years publication on a website and enable the book to be sold online. Designhand designed the site and added the online shopping capability and further publications are being looked at being sold in a similar fashion using the web.
	King Country Driver Training The King Country Driver Training website is a good example of what you can do with a template site, originally designed by someone else but localised to fit the local requirements. Designhand designed the King Country Driver Training logo and artwork as well as the build of the site.
	Otunui Valley Centenary - King Country This site was a lot of fun to build. Working with the small farming community of Otunui to bring to life a website that enables past and present members of the Otunui community to find out about the coming Centenary in 2010. The site build involved visits to the valley along with dinner and chats about the 75th anniversary and we added some character to the site to bring the look and feel of the old and the new to life.
	Trophy Hunt and Fish New Zealand Trophy Hunt and Fish was an excellent site to build as Dave had a large number of images available from his vast experience in the hunting game in New Zealand. Dave also knew exactly what he needed to say on the website and it was a pleasure being given the opportunity to bring Trophy Hunt and Fish to life.
	TasteMark™ and Taste Technologies Designhand was approached by TasteMark™ initially to build a two website model with an entry page to enter either business from either website. TasteMark™ was established initially and Taste Tech brought on board recently with a full content management system solution and both sites work independently from each other.
	Taumarunui Rebuilding the Taumarunui website was a labour of love for Designhand. The site involves a full content management solution and the town has content editor roles established to manage the content of the site. This project was a challenging one to phase out the old design and bring in a totally new way of running a community based website.
	Te Waka Pu Whenua Te Waka Pu Whenua are a maori learning and education group based in Taumarunui and approached Designhand last year to build a web presence to market the range of offerings of learning and education. David enjoyed building this site as it involved understanding about the maori language and customs and bringing the range of services to life via the internet.
	Velcaps The build of the Velcaps site was a re-design of an existing site. The new design was to modernise the layout and provide the online shop facility which was not available in the original site. We also added a dealer login section for dealers to purchase larger quantities at the dealer pricing. A flash slideshow was built for the banner to provide a colourful edge to the design.
	Aotearoa Safaris This site was an exciting site to build as the client requested something new, refreshing and different. We built this site using a full image background that switches between pages and a transparent content area that you can just view the background image through. The page also scrolls and gives a nice refreshing look and something a bit different.
	Kumeu Art in the Garden Designhand was approached by LJ Hooker to develop the website for the Kumeu Art in the Garden as a sponsorship project. The site is quite simple in its design but gives a garden look and feel and has enabled the Kumeu Art in the Garden Trust to actively market the event and firm up artists and sponsors.
	Taumarunui Golf Club This site has a simple but effective design bringing out the country golf course look and feel and gives the viewer a good view of all of the holes on the course and about the Club. The Tournaments page is a content managed page and the Golf Club can update the Tournament schedule and results themselves.
	Nevalea Alpacas This site was a fun one to build as we took the site from a logo design right through to the design and build of the site. The site is a traditional Designhand online shopping site using Paypal and it also has a database of Alpacas for sale and stud enquiries.
	Beermaker Beermaker is a brand name for an online shop established to sell home brewing products online. The site has a large number of products for sale and uses the Paypal online payment gateway. The layout scope was to be fresh, smart and modern and appealing to a large range of people. Designhand was proud to have the opportunity to bring this together for Hauraki Brewing Company.
	Taumarunui Jet Tours Designhand has been updating the original Taumarunui Jet Tours site for some time and was approached recently to undertake a modernising of the site. A flash banner was added and a new design layout and better focus on the range of tours Taumarunui Jet Tours have to offer on the Whanganui River. A fun site to redesign and a good example of Designhands redesign services.
	King Country Tours King Country Tours was an opportunity for Designhand to introduce some cultural styling that met the background theme of a Maori cultural feel to the site. We worked with Gina to produce the artwork, designed the logos for King Country Tours and Ruapehu Taxis and built the site to reflect the full range of services King Country Tours has to offer. We also added in gift vouchers for sale which gives the site something extra.
	Wood Pigeon Lodge Wood Pigeon Lodge was a re-design and modernisation of an existing site. The site brief was for a more rustic look and feel and modernisation of the layout of the website. More focus was put on the imagery associated with the Wood Pigeon that gives the Lodge the name, and the rustic charm of wood, hessian and accessories such as lanterns and pulleys. A fun site to re-design.
	Hunting Downunder Hunting Downunder contacted Designhand with the idea of starting a hunting business in the backblocks of Napier. Designhand assisted with the design of the logo, site layout design and build. The site has a modern fresh and simple to use feel to it and positions the activities of the business easily without too much clutter or busy feel to it.
	West Auckland Community Education The redesign of the West Auckland Community Education website was an interesting project involving a new design layout, redesign of the course database and the requirement for an online registration process. Designhand undertook the redesign from the new brochure layout and freshened up the look and feel of the new site.
