Search Engine Optimisation (commonly known as SEO) is the science of how your website is found on the internet by search engines. You may have noticed when you enter words in to a search engine search box that some words or combination of words bring back better results than others.

The primary purpose of building or refreshing a website is to attract customers to your website to purchase from you or contact you for more information. It is therefore extremely important that search engine optimisation is considered early on in this process and good keyword analysis is undertaken before any domain names are purchased or web copy is written for your website.

It starts with choosing the right keywords from the beginning through to tuning your website to perform as best as can be achieved 'organically'.

• Keyword Analysis - We work with you to create an analysis spreadsheet and start to map out what keywords we should use and which ones are too competitive and we should not tune for these.
• Keyword Discovery - Keyword discovery is all about analysing what your top 5 competitors are using for keywords and writing down the results. Generally the sites in the top 5 of Google have generally taken some SEO work to achieve these ratings and why start from scratch when you can start with this as a benchmark.
  
• Keyword Attractiveness - Keyword attractiveness is all about balancing the demand for your chosen keywords against the number of competing sites supplying relevant results. Attractive key-phrases are those that are relatively under exploited by your competitors.
• Keyword Competitiveness - Keyword competitiveness is extracted from the number of results returned from a Google search on the search terms concerned.
